Carousel Ad

A Carousel ad is a single Reddit ad holding up to six swipeable cards, each with its own image, caption, and destination URL.

You load the cards in order and the reader swipes through them in the feed. Because every card can point to a different page, you can send one card to a product, the next to a guide, the next to pricing. It works when you have a sequence to show, a set of features, a range of products, or steps in a process.

You run a meal-kit service. Card one shows the box, card two a finished plate, card three the price per serving, card four a link to this week's menu. A reader who swipes to card four is more interested than one who saw a single static image, and per-card click data lets you prove which card carried them.

Most people never swipe past card one. If your hook and your offer are not on the first card, the other five are decoration for a handful of readers. Treat card one as the whole ad and the rest as a bonus for the people who lean in.

Card one earns the swipe. The rest just reward it.
