A Snapchat Business Account is the container that holds your ad accounts, campaigns, billing, and team access.

You create it through Snapchat Business Manager, and everything you run hangs off it. It stores your payment method, your ad accounts, the pixel and audiences tied to your organization, and the roles you grant to people who log in. Without one, you cannot open Ads Manager or spend a single unit.

Say you run marketing for a cafe chain. You set up one Business Account, add a card for billing, create an ad account under it, and invite your media buyer with an admin role. They now run campaigns under your organization without ever touching your personal login or your card details.

The Business Account and an individual ad account are not the same layer. One business can hold several ad accounts, and people confuse the two when access breaks. If a buyer cannot see a campaign, the fix is usually a role on the right ad account, not a new business.

Set the container up once, cleanly, and grant access by role.
