Lookalike Audience

In one lineReach people similar to your customers.

A Lookalike Audience is a new group TikTok finds by copying the traits of a source audience you already have.

You point TikTok at a source, usually a Custom Audience like your buyers or your best video viewers. TikTok studies what those people have in common and then goes and finds fresh accounts that behave and look similar, people who have never heard of you.

For example, you take your list of repeat customers and build a lookalike from it. TikTok serves your ad to strangers who share the signals of those repeat customers, so you are prospecting cold traffic that still resembles the people who actually pay you.

A lookalike is only as good as the source you feed it. Build one from a tiny or junk list and TikTok copies the junk, so you want a clean source of at least a few thousand real, valuable people before the match means anything.

Good input in, good twins out. Bad input in, expensive strangers.
