X Amplify pairs your video ad with a publisher's video content, most often as a pre-roll that plays before their clip.
You choose from publisher categories, sports, news, entertainment, and the rest, and your short ad runs in front of their content. It buys you a viewer who is already leaning in to watch something, in an environment you have vetted, instead of a cold scroll past a post.
Say you run a pre-roll across a sports category before a match window. The viewer wants the clip that follows, so your opening seconds carry more weight than usual. You read completion rate in Ads Manager: if it holds, the category alignment is doing the work; if it drops, your open is wrong for that audience.
Borrowed content does not carry a boring ad. People assume the publisher's pull keeps viewers through the pre-roll, when a weak first three seconds gets skipped the moment the option appears.
They came for the clip. You have three seconds before they remember that.
