Follower Look-alikes

In one lineTargeting users like followers of accounts.
Follower Look-alikes illustration

Follower look-alike targeting reaches users who resemble the followers of accounts you name, not the followers themselves.

You enter the handles whose audiences match your buyer, and X serves people who behave like those followers based on their reposts, clicks, and posts. It builds a look-alike from the accounts you choose, so the followers of those accounts are not who you reach.

Say you sell project management software. You add around 30 handles, as X recommends, covering productivity writers and rival tools. X then serves people who act like those audiences across the platform. Watch delivery and prune the handles that pull the wrong crowd.

You are not reaching those followers. Naming a big account does not put your ad in front of its followers, only in front of people X's model thinks look similar. Pick handles for audience fit, not for their size.

Similar to the followers, not the followers.
